- All disputed calls or other competition issues will be reviewed by the Board.
- Any player unable to attend a game must notify his captain 48 hours before game time. Failure to do so will be considered missing without calling
- Missing three (3) games without calling the captain: suspended for rest of season, and return to sub list the following season.
- Missing eight (8) games or more, for any reason, during the season results in a return to the sub list.
- Any sub called must be the same rating or higher. The use of any sub with a lower rating will result in a forfeit of the game to the opposing team.
- Sub Exception, to (14) above: Any sub rated 5 or higher (ex. 6, 7..) may be used to replace a player rated 5 or higher. (ex: 6 is missing, may sub a 5).
- No regular league players may be used as Subs in a second game, unless the team is short two (2) or more players. If short (2) players, a team may use (1) league skater as sub. If a team is short one (1) player, they must play the game one (1) man short, or find a player from the approved Sub list. *Note: Sub rating rules apply to league players in 2nd game.
- If both teams in a given game are equally short by (2) skaters, after the first period ends, no "spur of the moment" subs, be they league skaters or sub list skaters, may be added to the game, unless each team can add a man, so as to maintain an equal number of players on each team. Sub rating rule applies. Exception – if a team's regular skater shows up late, said skater may join his team at any time during the game.
- Any player to be added to the sub list must be at least 38 years of age, except for goalies.
- Any player to be added to the sub list must be "sponsored" by a league skater, who must offer a rating estimate for the player to be added. Said sub must be approved for addition to the approved Sub List by the League President. The initial rating will be reviewed by the Board, and adjusted if necessary, after 2 or 3 games played by said sub.
- EMERGENCY SUB ADD RULE: If a captain wishes to add/use a non-sub list sub "at the last minute", captain must contact the League President in advance of the game for approval. President will convey said approval to opposing captain prior to game time.
- Sub fee will be $15 per game. If a sub from Game 1 is asked at game time to play in Game 2 due to shortage, a second sub fee will NOT be collected.
- The Sub List will be updated throughout the season, as needed. A special sub list will be created and agreed to for use in the Round Robin playoff. This "playoff sub list" cannot contain any subs that have not played during the regular season.
- Any sub taking a permanent roster spot (eg. "permanent sub") for any part of the season will be considered a regular, full time league skater, and be expected to pay the regular skater rate, pro-rated for time used.
- Any sub playing in a regular roster spot, and paying the regular skater rate, will be given first priority for open roster slots, to play full-time the following season.
- No player may be added to a roster unless they are on, or have been added to, the Sub List.
